Who We Are
Home of Modern Makers are a collective group of West London designers, from the former independent All Original gift shop, on Ealing Green.
Sharing our wealth of experience and creativity, we have curated a series of West London pop-up markets. As established local businesses, we have a loyal customer following and long relationship with the community.
Our core group of founder members will exhibit at most of our pop-ups, along with a rotating selection of guest designers. Each event will be carefully curated to bring the perfect mix of unique gift ideas.

When we created @homeofmodernmakers, we agreed that we would like to support and donate to different charities. Our chosen charity is The Rare Dementia Support Fund, a charity that resonates with us all.

It is 1 year anniversary since we started Home of Modern Makers. In that short time we have :

It’s been a lot of hard work, but we are so incredibly proud that we’ve done it together!
At our core is a merry band of six friends who created HoMM, when the independent gift shop (All Original, Ealing) sadly closed its doors in May 2023. All of us had sold our work there for several years and worried what would become of our businesses. We could have continued to sit and cry into our coffees, but we decided to pool our resources to keep our businesses alive and as a result strong friendships grew.
We are “the founders” because every minute of time we spend promoting, organising, designing and orchestrating our events, is done out of a passion to create a beautiful shopping experience for our customers and provide a supportive platform for our creative community. We also invested a little money to set up our enterprise and after that initial investment all the stall fees we now charge our guests are purely used to pay for venue hire and printing costs.
We donated the small profit we made last year to The Rare Dementia Support Fund, a charity that resonates with us all. We have pledged to support a different charity every year.
We call ourselves “the founders”, but basically we are “experienced volunteers”, the team that thinks about every little detail to curate the perfect mix of stalls, with gift ideas you actually want to buy! We have deliberately kept our venues small, friendly and intimate, so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Know that every item purchased is a quality product, designed by an independent maker. By supporting us you are helping small creative businesses, your local community and keeping your carbon footprint small.
